FAN PALM CHOKER
Inspired by Fan Palm, this choker features a hand sculpted palm leaf with two bezel set boulder opals.
For the debut collection Botanica, intricate botanical designs are combined with unique gems to create striking one of a kind pieces designed to be worn for a lifetime.
This piece has been made entirely by hand in our Sydney studio and each is unique in its own way. Our materials and gemstones are ethically sourced, and where possible from local suppliers.
Boulder opals are rare, unique and only found in Queensland Australia. Unlike seam opal, boulder opal forms when a layer of opal bonds to Ironstone. Your opal will naturally contain stone and other inclusions. Our boulder opals are sourced from locally run mines and come direct from the opal fields on the Winton Formation.
We are committed to sustainable production. Due to the handmade nature of the products we do not reject pieces that may contain small imperfections that do not affect the overall aesthetic. There may be minor variations in sizing, manufacturing and colours. Colours vary on all screens so images may differ.

Boulder Opal
Please note, as every boulder opal is unique, the opal in the photos is for illustration purposes only. Your opal will differ from the photo. It will be of an equivalent size.

To measure for your bangle size:
Close your fingers together, bringing her thumb and little finger together as if putting on a bangle.
Using a strip of paper or measuring tape, measure around the closed hand at the widest point, pulling the tape snug against the skin. If you are using a plain strip of paper, mark the paper with a pen then measure the strip. This is the circumference of your hand.
Add an extra 5-6mm/ ¼ inch to the circumference to find the right fit.

Gold Plated Jewellery
Your piece comes with a storage bag to protect it.
Remove jewellery if you are doing anything that will bring it into contact with something that will wear on the surface
Take care not to drop or knock it against hard surfaces.
Don’t wear it layered or stacked with other jewellery pieces as they will scratch and wear away the plate.
Opals are fragile stones, take care to not knock them or they will
break.
Apply perfume and skin products before putting on your jewellery, give them time to settle into the skin.
Avoid harsh substances, water, moisture and excessive sweating.
Do not use standard jewellery cleaning polishes or cloths, they contain harsh abrasives.
After each wear wipe your jewellery with a microfiber cloth (like ones used to clean glasses) or a cotton ball.
If more cleaning is needed use a mix of water with a small amount of gentle dish soap (not anti-bacterial).
Use a cotton ball, to clean, then rinse in clean water and pat dry with a clean cotton ball or tissue and allow to air dry.
Do not soak in hot water or use ultrasonic cleaners as this can affect the opal.
Resin Jewellery
Our resin is a hard wearing and
durable material with a degree of flexibility making it ideal for jewellery. However it may break if dropped or knocked against a
hard surface so please take care.
Keep your resin piece out of direct sunlight and avoid
heat as these adversely affect it.
If necessary (and if your piece has no metal
components), it can be cleaned with gentle dishwashing liquid and a soft cloth.
If your piece contains metal elements it is important to keep these dry, clean
the resin with a dry soft cloth only.
To clean brass it is important to only use a soft cloth. No detergents,
metal polishing agents or any sort of cleaning products should be used
